Fire Fighting Systems Lead H/F ABYSS ENERGY

We are seeking an Fire Fighting Systems Lead to perform the services described in this specification as part of Multi-project activities.
PROFILE:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 8-12 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to fire protection systems in the oil & gas sector.
MISSIONS:
The selected candidate will operate independently, under the supervision of a Project Lead and in close collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities include (non-exhaustive):
Serve as Fire Fighting Systems Lead, providing technical support to the Fire Fighting group within the Loss Prevention & Environment department for ongoing projects.
Develop, update, and review standard fire protection design documentation, including but not limited to:
Fire Fighting Philosophy
Fire Water and Foam Demand Calculations
PFDs & P&IDs
Hydraulic Analysis
Equipment Layouts
Technical Specifications and Data Sheets
Deluge Valve and Nozzle Arrangements
Ensure alignment of design work with project schedules and budget constraints.
Coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines, the project team, vendors, and subcontractors as needed.
SKILLS:
To perform the above services, the SUBCONTRACTOR must provide a candidate with the following qualifications and experience specific to the oil & gas sector:
Full autonomy in producing all necessary firefighting design deliverables for both onshore and offshore facilities.
Ability to provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to fire protection engineers involved in project execution.
Strong working knowledge of applicable codes and regulations, especially those relevant to floating/fixed offshore installations (e.g., IMO standards).
Proven experience in managing similar scopes during FEED and EPC phases, particularly on the Engineering Contractor side.
Willingness and ability to travel, as mobility is required for project assignments.
