This role is pivotal in shaping Adisseo's external engagement with regulatory bodies, industry associations, political stakeholders, and media, particularly in the feed, agriculture, and agribusiness sectors. You will ensure Adisseo's voice is influential in shaping policy, securing regulatory approvals, getting support from authorities on new product launches & subsidies for new capacities & improvement projects and enhancing the company's reputation as a global leader in sustainable animal nutrition.

The responsibility primarily covers Europe and includes coordination with the rest of the world and communication / sharing of best practice with China.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

Regulatory and Institutional Engagement

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with EU institutions and national ministries (Agriculture, Industry, Environment), with a specific focus on France and Spain. Monitor and influence regulatory developments affecting feed additives, trade, and sustainability.
- Coordinate lobbying efforts to support antidumping measures, trade protections, and favorable regulatory frameworks.

Strategic Public Affairs

- Develop and implement a comprehensive public affairs strategy aligned with Adisseo's business goals. Map and cultivate relationships with key political and administrative stakeholders across Europe.

Corporate Representation and Advocacy

- Position Adisseo as a reference partner in competitiveness clusters and international forums. Ensure Adisseo is represented in key institutions and contributes to thought leadership through publications and media presence.

Internal Coordination and Capacity Building

- Build and lead a high-performing PR and lobbying team, including external consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Train senior leaders and key personnel on public affairs engagement and advocacy.

Business, Operations & R&I Support and Subsidy Strategy

- Design and lead a comprehensive subsidy acquisition strategy to support Adisseo's major capital expenditure, screen and monitor public funding opportunities at the EU and support plant & operations management in establishing & maintaining regular contacts with local authorities for proactive & crisis management of local events.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to align project goals with funding priorities and ensure timely preparation of high-quality applications.

Qualifications

- Lobbying Expertise:Proven experience in policy influence and institutional relations
- Collaborative Spirit:Skilled at building internal and external networks
- Communication:Clear, persuasive communicator across diverse audiences
- Regulatory Knowledge:Deep understanding of EU policy and agribusiness dynamics
- Leadership:Experience managing teams and external consultants
- Strategic Thinking:Ability to align public affairs with business goals
- Languages:Fluent in English and professional-level French; other EU languages are a plus
