About Mirakl
Mirakl is the leading provider of eCommerce software solutions. Mirakl's suite of solutions provides enterprises with a transformative way to drive significant growth and efficiency in their online business.
Since 2012, Mirakl has been pioneering the platform economy, empowering retail and B2B enterprises with the most advanced, secure and scalable technology to digitize and expand product assortment through marketplace and dropship, improve efficiency in supplier catalog management and payments, personalize shopping experiences, and boost profits through retail media.
Mirakl is trusted by 400+ industry-leading businesses worldwide including Macy's, Decathlon, Best Buy, Airbus, Toyota Material Handling and Sonepar.
Headquartered in Paris with another office in Bordeaux and with offices in 7 countries, Mirakl is recognized as a Great Place to Work company.
With more than 350 people, Mirakl Labs teams are mainly based in France. They work together on a daily basis to develop our roadmap for our 5 SaaS solutions.
They also address the issues faced by our customers and users, responding to various challenges related to new features, scalability, security, and usability.
As a Product Design Manager, you will lead the Product Design team and be the owner of the user experience for the Mirakl Platform back office. You will apply your UX/UI expertise to make complex marketplace and ecommerce concepts simple and intuitive, in close collaboration with our squads (user management, orders, catalog, pricing, aftersales, accounting, etc.). You will align design goals with business priorities and influence product decisions at the right level.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate and ensure consistent application of the design process to achieve a high level of quality across the entire scope.
- Structure and guarantee the coherence and quality of deliverables at every stage (benchmarking, user research, wireframes, highfidelity prototypes, specs, edge cases).
- Deliver measurable business impact by proposing effective, compelling, and innovative design solutions to complex business problems.
- Codevelop product concepts with the Design Director and Product Directors, and work with your team's designers to bring the vision and strategy to life.
- Measure and analyze the adoption and usage of the solutions you deliver.
- Embed codesign in your practice and facilitate cocreation workshops with crossfunctional teams.
- Contribute to and help govern the Design System (prioritization, contribution, versioning, design tokens) and champion its adoption across the organization.
- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and grow the Product Designers on your team through coaching and influence.
- Plan and facilitate crossfunctional collaboration rituals.
- Represent design with key stakeholders (Leadership, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing), communicate progress, and arbitrate experience/tech/business tradeoffs when needed.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience managing a Product Design team.
- Significant experience building and evolving a B2B SaaS product.
- You master the endtoend design process and bring the expertise to help the team apply it effectively daytoday.
- Proven track record integrating user research as a core pillar of product development.
- Solid understanding of web technologies to consider engineering constraints into your design approach.
- You are proficient in the Figma suite, as well as tools such as Productboard, Asana, Monday, and Jira
- Excellent team spirit and openmindedness; you can advocate for your ideas and also challenge your own proposals.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; you take ownership of the product and work with passion to raise the bar every day.
- Fluent in French and English.
- You demonstrate humor, respect, and kindness.
The Recruitment Process
- A 30-minute phone call with one of our recruiters. This will be an opportunity to discuss your background, your expectations, and to discover what Mirakl can offer you in return.
- A first one-hour job-related interview via Zoom, conducted by both the Product Director and the Head of Design. This session will allow us to dive deeper into your expertise and explore how your skills could contribute to our projects.
- Two 45-minute interviews, giving you the chance to meet your potential future colleagues at Mirakl!
Portfolio guidelines
- Consider your portfolio as a UX exercise. Think about your audience (recruiter, hiring manager), the time available (often a few minutes), and the context in which it will be reviewed (between meetings, sometimes on mobile). Make sure navigation is simple and fast, with a clear structure to move from one project to another and jump to the most important sections. Keep in mind that the portfolio often replaces a design exercise during the hiring process.
- Be concise and decision-oriented. For each project, make the content scannable in a few seconds: the problem, your role, constraints, key choices, and the outcome. Avoid long texts and generic process or workshop descriptions that could apply to any project. If you want to show your method, do it in a dedicated section.
- Put visuals at the center. Use high-quality screenshots and highlight the result of your work. Show the expected level of craft, and briefly explain what the reader should focus on.
- Treat the portfolio as a personal branding exercise. It is a personal project that should reflect your personality while staying professional. The interface should feel spacious, leave room for visuals, and reflect current standards (typography, hierarchy, spacing, clarity).
- Select a small number of highly relevant projects. It is better to show 2 to 4 strong case studies tailored to the role than many average projects. Choose the ones where your impact and leadership are the most visible.
- Clarify your contribution and your level of leadership. As a manager, we want to understand how you framed the problem, aligned stakeholders, made decisions, prioritized, and improved the practice (guidelines, design system, rituals, quality).
- Show impact, not only screens. Add results when possible (conversion, adoption, time saved, quality, reduced support). If you do not have metrics, explain which signals you used (feedback, testing, analytics, learnings) and what you changed as a result.
Meet our Head of Design, Romain Séchan:
We welcome collaborators with their diverse perspectives and experiences to power us forward. These often far exceed conventional job requirements and help us create a culture of continuous learning. If you're ready to join a global leader powering digital transformation for 450+ of the world's most innovative retailers and B2B organizations, we strongly encourage you to apply to any of our roles, even if you think you're not an exact match.
We may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to help streamline our hiring process, including screening applications, analyzing resumes, and assessing responses. While AI helps us work efficiently, all final hiring decisions are made by humans. For more information, visit our .
