Position Objectives :
- Follow protos and sms production and delivery;
- Execute for accessories, component and material sourcing, product aesthetic and sample management, sample approvals, partner with QA team for a smooth package hand-off for sourced product;
- Ensure products can meet business needs and brand requirements;
- Manage factory/preparation and execution of on time production with partnering with QA team for quality perspective;
- Responsible for order processing after receiving official PO, managing bulk MOG against order and material prebooking.
- Check the material inventory and mold cost by following actual order;
- Support any ad hoc projects & other team duties if needed.
Responsibilities :
Product Development
- Working with factories on reviewing product, construction and spec;
- Sourcing materials and components relative to needs of the brands appropriate aesthetics;
- Working with factories on aesthetic and quality standards for Lacoste. Maintain standards across vendors for consistent execution of brand appropriate aesthetics;
- Sample development follow up and quality control, including but not limited to market samples, salesmen samples, advertising, marketing, and special projects. Make sure sample delivery to BE on time as requested;
- Review and communicate product and necessary spec sheet changes to manager and Paris development team for accurate product definition. Maintain records of all standards for development accuracy, library, and as a foundation for quality assurance;
- Work with the vendors on all aspects of sample fulfillment from material reservations through ex-factory of samples to destination;
- Monitoring sample material liabilities and development budget, report to managers timely
- Manage and report toward timely approvals for all components relative to product to meet design and pre-production timelines. Advise Paris development/production team of specific timelines for approvals that are unique to a particular component;
- Follow up and maintain base file accuracy;
- Follow up related schedule and documentation with factory during development process;
- Prepare full set of packages for handing off to review with manager and then work with QA team for a smooth transfer for each new buy or new collection;
- Arrange and follow up pre-production samples and lap dips in a timely manner without affect SMS & Bulk delivery;
- Prepare post-market round table meeting and provide product specifications to factories, internal production & quality team;
Costing
- Follow up Prototype and post-market price negotiation with factories;
- Review factory quotation before sending and make sure all prices are reflecting any products/material updates;
- Conduct consumption cross checking for accuracy and provide comparison chat;
- Identify cost saving option and maintain accuracy & update costing file
- Ensure all factories have the full visibility to current component cost timely and correctly;
- Negotiate with factory on all the costing details based on *****;
- Work with factories or material suppliers for accuracy & saving options to understanding products for cost;
- Component MOQ/Surcharge rework /negotiation when projection received if component under minimum;
Le profil recherché
Qualifications
- Diploma or above in related disciplines;
- At least 8 years of accessories and leather goods manufacturing experience;
- Knowledgeable in product development, production processes and best practice;
- Solid experience working with vendors and raw material suppliers;
- Problem identifying and problem solving oriented with good communication skill;
- Occasional travel is required;
- Good organization skills with detail-minded
- Good command of spoken and written English
