About the role :

As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will BE responsible for designing special-purpose machines for machining, welding, metrology, non-destructive testing, and/or handling activities.

You will report to the Product Manager and BE located at Marseille

Key Responsibilities :
- Participating in the definition of tooling concepts during the bidding phase
- Conducting feasibility and detailed studies
- CAD design and mechanical sizing
- Selecting materials and electromechanical components
- Producing assembly drawings, detailed drawings, and bills of materials
- Creating intervention sequence plans and handling plans
- Writing design, qualification, and implementation documentation for tooling
- Participating in workshop acceptance tests, development, and qualification of tooling.

Qualifications :
- Master's degree (Bac +5) in general or mechanical engineering, or equivalent
- 0 to 10 years of experience in design or manufacturing projects
- Passion for mechanics and special-purpose machinery
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong writing skills and ability to synthesize information
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Inventor and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of EUROCODES; familiarity with the Machinery Directive is a plus
- Knowledge and experience in the nuclear field and RCC-M regulations are appreciated.
