The main mission of Innov'lab is to provide growth-generating and disruptive solutions for ADISSEO and our customers, thanks to external partners (customers, start-ups and mature companies) and investments along the entire animal feed and health value chain.

Under the responsibility of the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), you will lead and expand our innovation ecosystem by fostering collaboration with external partners, startups, academic institutions, and other stakeholders. This role is pivotal in identifying emerging trends, scouting disruptive technologies, and integrating external innovations into our business to drive growth and competitiveness.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership :
- Define and execute a strategic roadmap for the Innov'L@b in alignment with R&I/GTSS strategic plan, by identifying emerging trends, technologies, and business models that can disrupt or enhance our value chain.

Ecosystem management :
- Establish and nurture relationships with startups,, incubators, innovation hubs and all structures that host startups.
- Represent Adisseo in innovation forums, to strengthen visibility and attract potential investments.
- Develop a network of venture funds, to have access to portfolios of startups

Scouting & Evaluation :
- Oversee the scouting, evaluation and onboarding of innovative technologies developed by startups.
- Manage a team in charge of identifying and assessing external technologies, start-ups, and solutions that can enhance our product/service offerings.

Partnerships & investments strategy :
- Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships and co-development agreements with startups.
- Support the potential investment in ventures that align with the strategic axis and our innovation goals

Ideation Management :
- BE the leader of the ideation process allowing to promote the discovery activities within ADISSEO
- Trend Analysis : Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform innovative priorities.
- Indicators & Reporting : Define KPIs and track the performance of open innovation initiatives, reporting to the CTO.

Collaboration & Integration
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between internal teams and external partners to co-develop and pilot new solutions.
- Ensure smooth transition of successful innovations into the core business or R&D pipeline.

Qualifications
- Master's or PhD's degree in Science (Nutrition, Engineering, Chemistry...), ideally completed with a MBA, Innovation Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in innovation, strategy, or business development roles.
- Proven track record in managing external partnerships and innovation projects and strong understanding of technology trends and startup ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English and a second language is a plus
