As part of the Support and Sanctions team and embedded in the Compliance Department, you will BE supporting the compliance teams, leveraging your programming expertise to develop and maintain reporting and automate processes. As part of the compliance department, you will help combatting money laundering, fraud, and ensure the Bank is in line with international sanctions by acting as the Data Steward for the Compliance data domain, working closely with the Data Governance team and supporting the Data Owner and helping to automate Compliance processes.

You will havemultiple tasks, which include :
- In-house Management tools : Leverage your programming expertise to enhance internal systems and processes in the areas of Compliance
- Data Stewardship : Support Compliance data governance by ensuring consistent data definitions, monitoring data quality, and implementing data-related decisions
- Reporting : Contribute to the automation of internal and external processes and reporting
- Compliance Analysis : Conduct data-driven compliance analysis to support decision-making
- Ad-hoc Projects : Participate in transversal projects in collaboration with various stakeholders within the bank

Key Responsibilities
- In-house management tools :
- Translate Compliance requirements into technical specifications for IT development or improvement initiatives
- Analyze compliance processes, identify and develop automation opportunities through Python, VBA, JavaScript, CSS
- Data Stewardship :
- Maintain and enhance the Compliance Data Dictionary, ensuring business definitions, standards, and metadata are aligned with enterprise data governance policies
- Identify and enforce data quality standards, including the definition, enforcement, and measurement of data quality rules
- Operate and maintain data quality monitoring processes, identifying data issues, documenting risks, and supporting resolution efforts
- Ensure that Data Owner's decisions are effectively implemented in day-to-day data operations
- Act as Single Point of Contact for Compliance data matters, coordinating with other data stakeholders across the bank
- Collaborate with IT/Data Management teams to resolve data-related issues and enhance data processes
- Reporting :
- Data Extraction & Delivery
- Perform and manage complex data extractions from structured databases using SQL and other query tools.
- Deliver high-quality datasets to support regulatory filings and internal compliance investigations
- Automate and optimize recurring extraction processes where possible.
- Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with IT, Data Engineering, and other technical teams to ensure data availability, appropriate access controls, and adherence to security policies
- Regulatory Support
- Provide accurate, timely, and auditable data extracts for regulatory requests, internal audits, and external inspections
- Proactively monitor upcoming regulatory changes impacting data needs and adjust data sourcing strategies accordingly

Le profil recherché

- Master's degree in a Quantitative field, Computer Science or Data Science
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SQL development and data extraction activities
- Expertise in Python for data analysis is a must
- Knowledgeable in JavaScript, HTML, Django and CSS for web development
- Understanding of Compliance framework and/or solid appetite to learn Compliance framework
- Experience in data documentation and data governance policies implementation
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, FINMA...)
- Fluent in French and/or in English

Preferred Skills
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write efficient and optimized queries on large datasets
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
- Familiarity with data governance platforms (e.g., Openmetadata) is a plus
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, PostgreSQL)
- Expertise of scripting languages (Python, Shell) for data processing automation
- Knowledgeable in JavaScript, HTML, Django and CSS for web development and data visualization
