Les missions du poste
The Materials Engineer oversees daily laboratory operations, ensuring the accuracy of test results, validity of samples, and compliance with approved standards and specifications. The role involves conducting material tests, monitoring performance, preparing reports, and implementing safety and quality control measures (HSE & QA/QC). Additionally, the Materials Engineer provides supervision and management services to uphold safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Perform material tests and validate sample reports.
- Track material performance and provide detailed reports on findings.
- Verify that materials adhere to approved standards and specifications.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures on-site, ensuring alignment with regulatory and project-specific standards.
- Ensure all materials comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting of all testing and monitoring activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with material and work quality standards.
- Develop and implement region- and project-specific procedures.
Le profil recherché
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of construction or materials engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in materials engineering or a related field.
- Expertise in materials engineering principles, laboratory procedures, and specifications.
- Familiarity with acceptance criteria for diverse material types.
- Proven ability to supervise facilities and networks.
- In-depth understanding of project practices, standards, procedures, and specifications.
