Provision Master - Luxury Cruise Ship

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Provision Master to oversee inventory operations aboard a luxury cruise vessel. In this pivotal role, you'll manage hotel-related provisions including food, beverages, consumables, uniforms, and bonded goods-all while sailing across the globe. Key Details
- Contract : 5 months onboard / 2 months off
- Schedule : 10 hours per day, 7 days a week (standard cruise rotation)
- Cabin : Private single cabin with full crew privileges
- System Used : Experience with MXP (Marine Xchange Program) is highly valued
- Salary : USD $4,800 per month (tax-free, paid only while onboard)
- Start Date : Immediate openings available

About the Role

As Provision Master, you'll BE responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing all hotel and F&B supplies onboard. You will lead a team of storekeepers and assistant provision staff to ensure every department-from housekeeping to food service-has what IT needs to run smoothly. Accuracy, cleanliness, and efficiency are key to maintaining excellence in this role.

Main Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of hotel stores and provisioning areas
- Oversee the ordering process using MXP, aligned with inventory levels and voyage plans
- Supervise receipt, storage, and issuance of goods in compliance with USPH and SMS standards
- Coordinate with purchasing and shoreside logistics to track shipments and manage discrepancies
- Conduct regular inventory audits, including monthly bonded inventory
- Train and lead a small team of assistants and storekeepers
- Maintain budget control and track invoice accuracy
- Plan for upcoming cruises and loading schedules
- Ensure work/REST compliance and MLC standards are followed for your team

What We're Looking For
- Experience :
- At least 2 years in a similar logistics or provisioning role in luxury hotels or cruise ships
- Strong F&B product knowledge is essential
- Prior experience with cruise ship operations and MXP is a strong asset
- Skills & Attributes :
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and efficient under pressure
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Able to manage inventory systems and Excel-based reporting
- Organized, proactive, and able to multitask
- Certifications :
- Valid STCW certificates
- Seafarer's Medical (PEME), C1D visa, Seaman's Book (or willingness to obtain)
- Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written)
