Cloud Finops Senior Specialist
Business Context

The Airline and Airport Operations Product Management team seeks support in executing the new decentralized finance operations of our product suite. As FinOps Expert you take ownership of our cloud financial management, driving cost optimization and operational efficiency across multi-cloud environments. This way you support the individual product teams to deliver high quality products with a solid financial foundation matching costs and revenue. This role involves collaborating with the product management teams, engineering, finance, and leadership teams to implement FinOps Amadeus best practices, monitor usage, and ensure financial accountability. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in cloud cost analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning to support scalable and cost-effective cloud operations.

Your Main Responsibilities

Common accountabilities :

- Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in own discipline. Understands how own area contributes to the business. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.
- Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.
- Works independently within plan dictated by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations.

Specific accountabilities :
- Articulate & Develop value propositions and key messages corresponding to problem statements, and articulate them into new product concepts or upgrades
- Define the product strategy, vision & the business value in line with the business owners and other relevant stakeholders in the context of Finops
- Lead the AOP PM FinOps transformation journey
- Lead AirOps Product champions through the transformation. BE they coach and advocate
- Work in very close collaboration with R&D FinOps champion on the various challenges of the transformation.
- Interact with AOP leadership around FinOps topics and deliverables
- Support the individual product teams in embarking on their journey to full Finops adoption. Provides guidance and training.
- Collaborate and work with the AirOps finance, PM and RD team to create and align Business NSM and product cost allocation.
- Collaborate with central finance team and Finops team of other BU's to develop and foster best practices
- Participate in transversal Finops related meetings and represent the AirOps BU.
- Orchestrate the BU internal Finops process and sync with Product Owners and Planning Line/Cost Owners and providers
- BE accountable for AOP's CoD LTP and budget exercises and cost trackings
- Manage the budget for area of responsibility including capacity planning with R&D
- Participate in Agile events (Lean Portfolio Management, PI planning, System demos, Inspect and Adapt workshops...) when applicable / required
- When applicable, fulfill Product Owner role or ART PM and work with R&D teams to maximize the agile teams outcome

- Good at networking
- English is required. French is a plus.
