Engineer Position In Microbial Metabolic Engineering H/F Inrae

The successful candidate will join the Molecular and Metabolic Engineering team (I2M) at TBI and work in close collaboration with CRITT-Bioindustries (bioindustries.net).

The position is part of the collaborative AmiSynPa project, funded by 3BCar. The candidate will work alongside two researchers and a PhD student at TBI, in close partnership with CRITT-Bioindustries. The primary goal of the AmiSynPa project is to enhance flux through the mevalonate pathway by co-localizing its enzymes in synthetic organelles, using two model organisms : Escherichia coli and Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Applicants should have a Master's degree in Molecular Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field. Prior laboratory experience is appreciated, but motivated recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate should :

· Have experience in molecular biology, microbial strain engineering, and microbial culture techniques.

· BE familiar with analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC.

· Experience in fluorescence microscopy is a plus.

Candidates should BE team players with strong communication skills. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of spoken French is an advantage.
