About Dioxycle Dioxycle is pioneering breakthrough carbon utilization technologies that convert industrial emissions into sustainable chemicals with unprecedented energy and cost efficiency. By displacing fossil fuels for the production of key chemicals, Dioxycle has the potential to ultimately reduce over 800 million tons of CO2 per year, representing over 2% of the world's emissions.At the core of our process is a novel "carbon electrolyzer", a machine capable of using just electricity and water to convert carbon emissions back into valuable everyday essential chemicals. Our team is innovating across chemical, mechanical and system engineering to turn carbon transformation into an economically feasible, industrial reality through this completely novel technological approach. Having completed our medium-scale Proof-of-Concept electrolyzer, we are now working towards a first-of-its-kind large-scale industrial prototype and are assembling key partnerships for future commercial roll-out.

Your MissionDioxycle is seeking an experienced and drivenProcess Engineer to join our team at this pivotal phase of transition from R&D to industrial piloting. Partnering with our existing process team, you will contribute to the definition and review of various processes relevant to our solution. As such, your responsibilities will center around :
- Propose new process schemes for the integration of our core technology into real industrial environments- Define PFDs (ProcessFlow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) both from documented processes and leveraging your experience- Developprocesssimulation files using specialized software for the plannedprocesschain - Conduct quick techno-economic analyses based on simulation results- Contribute to concept & feasibility studies for industrial partners- Contribute to the conceptualization, design, and development of our industrial carbon electrolyzer plant- Collaborate with an engineering company from the feasibility, through concept development and FEED phase to detailed engineering stages.- Contribute to pilot commissioning phase and iterative improvement
Location : Onsite in Paris, France (Saint-Ouen)

Below are the skills we believe will enable you to BE successful in this role.
Skillset we are looking for

- 3+ years of experience in process engineering (expertise in electrolysis and/or CCU and/or gas & liquid separation is a plus but not a requirement)
- Highly proficient in P&ID (Piping & instrument Diagram) and PFD(ProcessFlow Diagrams)definition and review
- Strong expertise in simulation and other methods and tools forprocessengineering (Aspen HYSIS/Aspen Plus/Pro-II)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in English, as IT's the daily working language
- Any simulation experience is appreciated (Aspen HYSIS/Aspen Plus/Pro-II)
- Experience in demonstrator projects related to large-scale electrolysis is a PLUS

- 2 x 30 minute intro call with the team to understand your career expectations, and answer your questions
