Your Mission as a 2nd Shift CNC Grinder
As a 2nd Shift CNC Grinder, your primary responsibility will BE to skillfully and efficiently set up and operate CNC grinding equipment. Your key missions will include :
- Reading blueprints and interpreting engineering instructions to consistently produce parts within tight tolerances.
- Analyzing and debugging new methods to optimize processes.
- Performing calculations and using inspection equipment to ensure all quality requirements are met.
- Adhering to safety rules and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Diligently performing all duties in a highly productive manner.
- Checking and maintaining oil and coolant levels daily.
Le profil recherché
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional who possesses :
- A High School Diploma or Vocational School background with hands-on training from school or a machine shop.
- At least 5 years of machining experience.
- The ability to perform within tight tolerances and work within established parameters.
- A strong understanding of tolerances of +/- 0.00015, and knowledge of surface finish and inspection methods.
- Proficiency in indicating.
- A team player mentality with a positive attitude.
- Desirable : Some training in metric to imperial inch conversion.
- Desirable : Training in SPC (Statistical Process Control), teambuilding, and problem-sharing, with a strong understanding of company quality policies and procedures.
