Presentation of the host laboratory UMR SecAlim is under the supervision of Oniris VetAgroBIo and INRAE. The unit's missions are to produce and disseminate knowledge and scientific methods in the 1 field of microbiological food safety to respond to industrial challenges and societal demands for public health and control of food loss. Its research actions aim to characterize and control the microbial risk (health and spoilage) in food products. Molecular, classical and predictive microbiology methods are used to understand, quantify and model the behavior of microorganisms during food processing, at the scale of the microbial ecosystem or at the scale of model bacterial species. A better assessment of microbiological risk makes IT possible to provide expert and innovative solutions to ensure the microbiological safety of foods.
Le profil recherché
Diploma requirements : professional Bachelor's degree or Master 2, or equivalent, in food microbiology or related disciplines. Desired knowledge and skills : rapid adaptability and autonomy, ability to work in a group, ability to listen and share tasks, usual food microbiology analyses, writing and organizational skills, communication skills in English (oral and written). The candidate will work in a class 2 biological safety level laboratory.
