What You'll Do :

The Senior Manager, Business Process Leader (RTR) will BE a member of Lubrizol's corporate Finance team and bring a strong technical background for Record-to-Report processes in SAP. This person will act as a liaison between IT and Finance by developing RTR business processes, implementing cross functional solutions, and leading process change.

What We're Looking For :
- With a global view, lead the organization to the best end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) processes and practices by identifying areas for improvement (business inefficiencies, process governance issues, process gaps, etc.) and implementing process enhancements.
- Have familiarity with manufacturing industry use cases, business processes, vendors, IT landscapes, and architecture associated with Record-to-Report processes.
- Translate business strategies and requirements into process requirements for determining appropriate solutions, and functional/technical designs.
- Develop and implement new financial processes to improve efficiency, and lead integration by providing education and direction to the Finance team.
- Facilitate and participate in roadmap development and portfolio management and communicate Record-to-Report process improvement strategy, goals, benefits, and successes.
- Collaborate with the IT Team regarding process improvement initiatives.
- Interface with other key processes (Plan-to-Manufacture, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay) colleagues and impacted stakeholders to support cross regional and cross business alignment.
- Continue to learn and pursue educational opportunities to remain current in emerging RTR processes, technologies, and concepts.
- Serve as the primary monitor of Segregation of Duty risks and advise other Business Process Leaders on these matters.

Skills That Make a Difference :
- A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university. CPA is a plus !
- Proven experience with the SAP Record-to-Report process (Corporate Accounting, Operations Finance, Management Reporting, AR, AP, Tax, Treasury, Consolidations, and Audit)
- 7+ years' experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
- Experience leading IT and/or ERP implementation projects.
- SAP S/4HANA and ECC functional and technical experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in end-to-end process design/development and integration with cross-functional areas of SAP (Order-To-Cash, Plan-To-Manufacture, and Procure-To-Pay)
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
- Willing to travel on a project basis - up to 15% per year.
