Your missions : As a Grains Demand Analyst within the Grains Research vertical you will BE in charge of the analysis for the industrial demand for grains, focusing on outputs such as starches, proteins, polyols, glucose, maltodextrins, dextrose, etc. You will work daily with other analysts, sales, traders and industrial business units globally (Europe, Asia and Latin America) to monitor and coordinate market developments in terms of capacities, macroeconomic drivers and supply availability impacting production, consumption, tradeflows and price evolution for main cathegory products. The scope of analysis will primarily focus on wheat and corn based starch and sweeteners, as well as competing complimentary products fom other feedstocks. You will BE in charge of the maintaining and developping our SnD models and databases, Tradeflows and price parities. You will use those elements to form insights and to build a clear communication to members of Tereos Group. Your day-to-day activities : * Create and maintain an in-house view for Industrial Grains demand and output focusing on Europe, Asia and Latin America * Daily exchange with traders communicating market insights that could impact Tereos business * Structure internal communications with the relevant facts affecting grains and cathegory products SnD, raising and quantifying risk flags that could impact those markets * Present market overviews (SnD, tradeflows and prices) showing the current situation and perspectives in a pragmatic and objective way * Collaborate and support the wider research team on correlated markets, processes, models, etc. * Leverage Tereos physical presence in various regions to obtain information and integrate IT into your analysis * Provide ideas for new data, technology and innovation to strengthen analysis within the Market Intelligence Research team * Act as the main point of contact for grains research topics across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders (clients, service providers and peers)

Le profil recherché
Your profile :
- University degree in Economics, Statistics or Engineering
- 2-5 years experience in commodity research
- Fluent English compulsory. Working level proeficiency in French is a big plus
- Top Excel and Power BI
- Understanding of economics and experience in commodity supply and demand fundamentals
- Ability to structure data to extract relevant information for analytical purposes
- Problems solving skills, strong autonomy and creativity to address daily analytics issues
- Collaborative nature aiming for active cooperation within the Market Research Team and external stake holders
