Our team operates within the larger AirOps Product Management group, which is dedicated to overseeing airline operations and airport management. As a specialized unit, we focus on airline operations disruption products, ensuring that our 150 customers receive the support they need to navigate complex solutions effectively. A key part of our work involves managing a community backlog, supported by an annual 20-effort-year investment and championed by eight leading airlines. In addition to maintaining operational excellence, we drive strategic upselling to maximize the value of our offerings.

Beyond our Horizon 1 responsibilities, we play a crucial role in shaping the future of airline technology through Horizon 2 solution development. By leveraging deep industry knowledge and customer insights, we aim to anticipate evolving operational challenges and transform them into next-generation solutions. Working in alignment with the broader Operations PM group, our team bridges the present and future-ensuring both immediate impact and long-term innovation in the aviation sector.

Your Main Responsibilities
As Disruption/Passenger Recovery PM, you will :

Identify opportunities

\_ Identify, analyze and assess business requirements from customers and prospects

\_ Benchmark other business needs

\_ Give input to the product plan/Roadmap & long-term plan

\_ Consolidate and articulate business needs into new product concepts or upgrades.

Formalize requirements (scoping)

\_ Propose solutions to the customer aligning with Amadeus business needs.

\_ Assess potential gaps between customer requirements and Amadeus solutions.

\_ Write a high-level business requirement.

Lead design and development

\_ Work closely with Design and Development teams to define priorities and product-releasing plan for new products or product upgrades.

\_ Participate to Sprints reviews when applicable / required.

Follow up customer satisfaction

\_ Provide support and assistance to customer

\_ Monitor product acceptance, product performance and satisfaction

\_ Take corrective action as necessary

Promote the product

\_ Provide key information on the product to define the Value proposition

\_ Contribute to the launch plan with Product Marketing and other associated teams & BUs.

\_ Share content for product documentation, sales tools and collateral.

\_ Create standard and tailor-made presentations, and demo scripts showing product value.

\_ Give presentations, demos and familiarisation sessions to customer, or train Sales to perform them. \_ Participate to the preparation of key events, guaranteeing the success of product launch and follow up.

\_ Contribute to RFP/RFI for the product

Act as EPIC Owner in the Disruption Train

Common accountabilities :

- Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in own discipline. Understands how own area contributes to the business. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.
- Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.
- Works independently within plan dictated by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations.

Specific accountabilities :

- Articulate & Develop value propositions and key messages corresponding to problem statements, and articulate them into new product concepts or upgrades
- Define the product strategy, vision & the business value in line with the business owners and other relevant stakeholders
- Analyze solution offerings of competitors and define the strategic positioning of the product in alignment with Product Marketing Management
- Manage 3rd party partnerships : requirement definition and prioritization, coordination of product evolution and other activities with the partner
- Embark Amadeus teams on product vision, share product knowledge and ensure mutual understanding of the business
- Support co-innovation with customers to validate customer value drivers, define features of the products (MVP and beyond), and prioritize based on effort and expected business value
- Define and manage product roadmap; socialize and align timelines with relevant stakeholders. Work closely with Product Marketing Management, Operations (Customer Service/Delivery/GO To Market) and R&D teams to define priorities and releasing plan for new products or upgrades
- Coordinate different functional and technical streams with R&D teams to ensure end to end solution consistency
- Manage the budget for area of responsibility including capacity planning with R&D
- Participate in Agile events (Lean Portfolio Management, PI planning, System demos, Inspect and Adapt workshops...) when applicable / required
- When applicable, fulfill Product Owner role or ART PM and work with R&D teams to maximize the agile teams outcome
- Ensure solutions (to BE) released meet the users needs and product readiness guidelines
